A Good Life on a Roster

This workshop is for individuals on shift work rosters and their family members. It builds awareness of the challenges of shift work and potential impacts on mental health, as well as the steps that can be taken to keep mentally healthy while doing this work.

Participants gain understanding of mental health including emotional, psychological and social wellbeing and what this means in terms of actions, behaviours and how people cope, relate to others and make choices.

In this session we will explore:
  • Mental health and the potential impacts of shift work
  • Keeping mentally healthy
  • Managing relationships - key relationship skills
  • Sex and intimacy – keeping the fire alight
  • Engaging in self reflection
